We carefully clean and inspect each reel before we transfer it. Old film can be brittle or have dust that hides the picture. We remove debris and repair small splices when needed.

During transfer we capture the full film frame so your movie looks as close to the original as possible. We correct color and stabilize shaky footage when it helps, but we don’t over-edit — we want the movie to feel like your memory. When the files are ready, we save them as easy-to-play MP4s and give them to you on a USB drive. You’ll get a copy that’s safer and easier to watch than the original reels.
